NEWS:
Firstly, I guess I need to take a moment here to clear up a few things since a few of you have been expressing concerns about it. The ALT Universe is NOT a series of filler strips, ALT is LAWLS. I have an overall plan for it with the in LAWLS Universe, so please, don’t think I am putting any less thought or effort into the quality of these comics… they are just different. At the moment, because of the fact that it is non-linear, I’m using it as an opportunity to better familiarize myself with my characters, while being able to make changes to them as I see fit… by the time I ended VOL.1 of LAWLS I was frankly bored with the way I was drawing the characters and struggling to keep them consistent. In the ALT universe, if there is a major shift in what the characters design looks like, that’s because I’m trying to prefect them before I bring back the main story arc. That being said, until I’m 100% happy with each character, the Story Arc version of LAWLS is on hold. A LARGE reason for this is, as I was putting together the Vol.1 book, I could see way to many inconsistency, my growth was way too extreme, and when I look back on the early strips, I just don’t love them the way I love the comic now. SO when VOL2 comes out, i want it to be 10x’s if not stronger of a Volume overall. Mind you, I’m not saying that I’m not proud of VOL1, I am, I just want to strive for an even better book for VOL2.
As far as the VOL.1 book goes, I received the proofs from the printers yesterday! The freakin’ cover came out fantastic! I was hoping I was gonna be able to just ok the damn thing and get it in production this next week… but, they had notes on the proof about a few things that I needed to change, one of which is gonna be a bit time consuming. So, this weekend I will be working on the book so that I can send it back by Monday and cross my fingers that THAT will be perfect that time. SO MUCH WORK! IT NEVER STOPS!
In other news… I’m also getting ready to release a new shirt/apron here in the next week or so! So make sure to follow me on the twitters for more updates and sneak peeks of that!

Dear god… I knew a girl from one of my courses who was EXACTLY like that about yaoi and gay/bisexual guys. Good (but occasionally disturbing) times…
